Wing Seals
We have three types of WING SEALS
- ALUMINIUM WING SEALS: Manufactured using hard-tempered heavy-duty aluminium that confers to the ASTM B-209 quality, it is available in 12mm, 13 mm ,19mm and 20mm widths.
STAINLESS STEEL WITH WINGS: The T-304 alloy variant of stainless steel is used for these wings. It is available in ½ Inch and ¾ Inch widths
- STAINLESS STEEL CLOSED SEALS: These seals are manufactured using heavy-duty T-304 & 316 hard-tempered stainless steel. It is available in various sizes as per your need
We also provide excellent TOGGLE CLIPS as an insulation accessory.
Toggle clips are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, with rounded edges that ensure safe handling. Toggle clips have excellent clamping strength compared to general clips.
Our toggle clips are very easy to install and remove, and are manufactured with highest quality standards and have quick delivery.

Used in various incineration plant equipment, nuclear power insulation works, groove box, petrochemical insulation pipe valve boxes, jungle construction machinery, marine equipment, outdoor waterproof riot lighting, electrical boxes, valve boxes, furniture, equipment these toggle clips are more than what you need for most of your insulation needs.
Springs
Mainly there are two types of Springs available with us:
- EXPANSION SPRINGS: At Paragon Coatings you are going to get various types of expansion springs. The 4 cm type 302 stainless steel spring with a flat look is used for insulating pipes, tanks, vessels, and other large equipment that can expand and contract due to rise and fall in temperature and other associated weather conditions. It can be used for any ¾cms width of strapping. These are attached only to the stainless-steel wing seals. The strapping goes through the seal and then the spaced opening. With the strapping bent, the wings of the seal are flattened. This strapping is then extended completely to the next spring and the task is done repeatedly until the object has been covered.
The maximum expansion is only allowed up to 2-1/2 cm above the original length. During the entire process, extreme care should be adhered to so that the stress is evenly distributed all around the insulated body of the object.
- COMPRESSION SPRINGS: The compression springs at Paragon Coatings are made from the alloys of 302 and 304 types of stainless steel. The strapping is allowed only for the maximum expansion and contraction of the large diameter objects such as pipes, tanks, vessels, and other equipment. The standard-sized springs can be used for strapping widths of up to ¾ inch. These have 80 lbs. of pressure per square inch. The ¾ “X 0.8 mm thick stainless-steel strapping is passed through the slots on the flat end bottom of the spring. The strapping is closed with the seal. The strapping is then attached to the next spring so that it can be used to cover the whole object.
Banding is used to fix insulation and cladding around a pipe, vessel or equipment, in combination with a seal (wing seal and closed seal).
We manufacture it by means of rotary shearing, popularly referred to as coil slitting. We can deburr the banding to obtain a safety edge.
We offer banding in stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized iron to suit customer specifications in terms of alloy used, surface finish like smooth stucco or corrugated, varying thickness, width, roll weight and length.

Banding is folded around the wing seals and then notched using closed seals utilizing special tools to keep the banding in place.

For example, in construction, wing seals are used to secure stop lights and signs to poles, so that the intersection is clearly marked and it is safe. In oil refineries, they are used to secure pipes and tubing within the drilling platforms, as well as manage the toxic waste.
All the insulations accessories can be customised to meet specific requirements, be it the banding, strapping, seals or clips. We can make it in steel, aluminum or galvanised iron with different finishes such as smooth stucco corrugated, varying strength (to stand light or heavy loads)
